Betsafe elected to the world’s best bookmaker
The sports- and gaming magazine TIPS has elected the gaming company Betsafe.com to the world’s best bookmaker in their comprehensive test of all the biggest European bookmakers.
Betsafe won with one point over the existing champions, with the following statement:
Excellent support and good odds ensured that Betsafe won its first top position in TIPS’ large bookmaker test. The established test evaluates the bookmakers in eight different categories such as Usability/Design, how to register, deposit/withdrawal options, gaming options, how to make a bet, payback, support and focus on security and addictive gambling—where gaming options and payback gives double amount of points. The maximum amount of points is 100, and this time Betsafe won with 81 points.
We are very happy to win this test and it shows that we have done some good stuff and taken the correct decisions during our first 2 years.

André is together with his brother Christer Lavold and their friends Rudi Thomassen and Anders Berntsen the team behind the 2 year old gaming company, which is already well established in the Scandinavian market.
- Good odds are most important, without them I don’t believe people would have noticed us at all. Scandinavian players knows the value of things and usually compare prices and odds before the make a bet, the sportsbook manager Anders Berntsen points out.
- We are extremely proud over what we have accomplished over the last six months with a new website as the highlight, but we will not rest with this. We have a number of markets where we can improve, something we work with on a daily basis. Our most important focus is the close contact we have with our players, says the smiling CEO Henrik Persson.
